How it works
How it works
YouTube has no font menu, so each style swaps your letters for look-alike Unicode characters, such as the mathematical bold or script alphabets, or adds combining marks for strikethrough and underline. Type once, then copy the style you like.
The result is ordinary text, so it pastes into video titles, descriptions, comments and community posts.
Where it works on YouTube
It is refused or breaks in your @handle.
YouTube also formats some text itself: use its own markup, shown in the tool, when you want real formatting rather than look-alike letters.
