Tracking Pixel Generator

Build the HTML for a 1x1 tracking pixel from your endpoint, with query parameters, a cache buster and a referrer policy.

Pixel

The address that records a hit and returns a 1×1 image. Its own query is kept.
Parameters
Your email or ad tool swaps this for a timestamp or random number, e.g. *|UNIQID|* in Mailchimp, [timestamp] or %%CACHEBUSTER%% in ad servers.
How much of the page address the browser sends with the request.
Cache-buster

Result

Enter the pixel endpoint to get the snippet. Nothing is requested from it here.

Runs in your browser; nothing you enter leaves this page.

How it works

What it builds

A tracking pixel is a tiny image whose request tells your server that an email was opened or a page was seen. The tool adds your parameters to the endpoint and wraps the address in a 1 by 1 pixel img tag.

<img src="https://…" width="1" height="1" alt="" />

Cache buster and referrer

A cache buster adds a cb value so a cached copy does not hide repeat views. The token stays literal for your email or ad tool to replace with a timestamp or random number. The referrer policy decides how much of the page address the request reveals.
