How it works
How it works
Telegram has no font menu, so each style swaps your letters for look-alike Unicode characters, such as the mathematical bold or script alphabets, or adds combining marks for strikethrough and underline. Type once, then copy the style you like.
The result is ordinary text, so it pastes into messages, channel posts, your name and bio.
Where it works on Telegram
It is refused or breaks in your @username, which takes Latin letters, digits and _.
Telegram also formats some text itself: use its own markup, shown in the tool, when you want real formatting rather than look-alike letters.
