How it works
What gets removed
Paste SVG code or drop an .svg file and it is optimised as you type with SVGO, running several passes. Editor metadata, comments, empty groups, unused definitions and redundant attributes go, and numbers and paths are written more compactly.
Width and height on the root are dropped when a viewBox is present, so the drawing scales to whatever box you place it in.
Checking the result
Before and After show the size in bytes and Saved shows the percentage. The preview is drawn from the optimised code, so you can compare it with the original before you copy or download. The file is saved as name-optimised.svg.
