How it works
How the trim is found
The tool reads every pixel and finds the smallest rectangle that holds all pixels with an alpha above zero. Everything outside it is fully transparent, so it is cut away.
A pixel that is only slightly visible still counts as kept, so soft shadows and glows are not clipped.
Reading the result
The figures show how many pixels were removed from the top, right, bottom and left, the new size, and the share of the area saved. You can download a PNG or copy the image to the clipboard.
If every edge already touches a visible pixel there is nothing to clip, and a fully transparent image has nothing to keep. The tool tells you in both cases.
