How it works
Steam sizes
The tool knows 6 places on Steam where you upload a picture, and frames your photo for each one:
Avatar: 184 × 184 px
Profile background: 1,920 × 1,080 px
Header capsule: 920 × 430 px
Main capsule: 1,232 × 706 px
Library capsule: 600 × 900 px
Library hero: 3,840 × 1,240 px
Framing and saving
The photo is scaled up just enough to cover the frame, and the part you see is what is saved. Drag the picture, nudge it with the arrow keys, zoom in with the slider, or rotate it a quarter turn. In the case of avatar, the output is 184 × 184 px.
Choose PNG for a lossless file or JPEG for a smaller one, then download one size, or every size for the platform in a single zip.
