How it works
Angles on a wheel
A harmony is a set of hues at fixed angles from your base: 180° for a complement, 120° for a triad, 90° for a tetrad, 72° for five hues, and the golden angle of 137.5° for the golden mode.
Drag the base on the wheel, or type a colour, and the other points follow at their angles with the same lightness and chroma.
hue_n = hue_base + angle_n (mod 360°)
Choosing the wheel
OKLCH and LCH rotate hue at constant perceived lightness, so the colours feel evenly weighted. HSL is the familiar designer wheel, and its steps look less even. Out-of-range results are pulled back to the nearest colour sRGB can show.
