How it works
Plotting functions
Type an expression in x, such as x^2, sin(x) or sqrt(x) / log(x), and its curve is drawn. Each row sets a relation (equals, or inequalities), a colour you can cycle, and can be hidden or removed. Add as many functions as you like; the examples fill an empty row or add one.
Expressions are parsed by the math.js library, so the usual functions and constants (sin, cos, ln, abs, pi, e) are available. Anything that is not a function of x only is flagged as invalid.
Moving around the plane
Drag to pan, scroll or pinch to zoom, or use the arrow keys with + and −. Type exact bounds in the x and y range fields, or choose a preset: Standard (−10 to 10), Trig (−2π to 2π), Decimal (−1 to 1) or Square, which keeps both axes at the same scale. Grid, axes and numbers can each be hidden.
Download saves exactly what is on screen as a PNG.
Tracing values
Trace picks an x and shows each visible function’s value there, with a table of the rows around it. Step left and Step right move x by the current step, and Smaller step and Larger step change that step through fixed sizes.
